1. DEFINITIONS

In these General Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the following meanings, unless the context requires otherwise:

  • "Pick-up location" means the location you agreed and the collection location specified by you (the Passenger) to be collected by the Service Provider as specified in the Details.
  • "Pick-up Date and Time" means the date and time at which you (Passenger) agreed and must be collected by the Service Provider as described in the Details.
  • "Booking (Reservation)" means the booking (Reservation) made via this Website of a vehicle for the purpose of carrying out Transfer Trips. Reservations can be made for one-way, round trips.
  • "Service Provider" means private transport operators, Supplier, Principal, taxi company, rental car company, private lessor, minibus or bus company who provide professional transport services for the transfer of passengers, or who acts as an agency with the legal capacity to offer transport services and who are in possession of all the necessary licenses and permits according to the legislation applicable to each one of them for the realization of this activity in any country we provide our transfer booking services.
  • "Service Provider GTC" the General Terms and Conditions of the service provider, which regulate the booking (reservation) and (trips/rides) in addition to these conditions.
  • "Card payment online” means the credit, bank/debit card that you (booker/or passenger) use when making a reservation.
  • "Card payment to the driver” means the payment you (Passenger) make to the Service Provider and/or to the driver for the Fare.
  • "Cash payment” means the payment you (Passenger) make to the Service Provider and/or to the driver for the Fare.
  • "Sepa Direct Debit" means the payment you (booker/or passenger) make by bank transfer to the Service Provider bank account for the Fare.
  • "Card charges" means the charges incurred by the credit card companies which are used by you (Passenger) to pay for the trip/ride
  • "Details" means the information that you (booker/or passenger) must provide when making a Reservation, including the date and time of pick-up and return address (locations) and your (booker/or passenger) personal details.
  • "Price (fare)" means the fee paid by you (booker/or passenger) for the offer you (booker/or passenger) accept on the website published.
  • "Luggage" means all goods carried in a vehicle that you have booked through this Website.
  • "Trip" means the journey that you (Passenger) wish to make from the pick-up address (Location) to the drop-off address (Location) specified by you (Passenger).
  • " Authorising Authority" means any regional or national authority responsible for authorizing the operation of the taxi, rental car, minibus, or bus companies.
  • "Special Requirements" means any specific requirements that you (Passenger) have in relation to disabled facilities, the gender of the Driver, or otherwise.
  • "You" means any person who booked a transport service through this website.
  • "Passenger" means any passenger carried in a vehicle booked through this website.
  • "Personal Details" means the information that you (as booker/or passenger) provide about yourself (Passenger) in relation to your physical data and your e-mail address (location), telephone number, and reservation data.
  • "Offers" means a fixed price and predefined offer you (booker/or passenger) book through the Website for the trip/ride.
  • "Conditions" means these General Terms and Conditions between Flaxoo, SIA LLC. and you (booker/or passenger).
  • "You (booker/or passenger)" means the person who enters details for the reservation requests.
  • "Website" airporttaxis24.com public website and mobile site located at airporttaxis24.com, and airporttaxis24.com social media, smartphone and tablet apps.

  • "Account" means collectively the personal information, including user ID and password, payment information, and credentials used by users to access protected content, paying services or any communication services provided within the software;
  • "Additional Services" refer to any additional services that may be provided to You by the Provider and that had not been requested in the original booking;
  • "Agreement" / "Terms and Conditions" refers to the Terms and Conditions set out below and signed, or agreed online, by the member;
The clause headings and any other headings shall be inserted for convenience only and shall not affect the layout of these Conditions.

GENERAL

airporttaxis24.com is the property of FLAXOO, SIA LLC. a limited company registered in Latvia with VAT: LV40103399358 and our address is at Grostonas iela 19-36, Riga, LV-1013 Latvia. The following provisions govern the relationship between the Booker/passenger) or the Service Provider (hereinafter referred to as "you") and FLAXOO, SIA LLC. (hereinafter referred to as airporttaxis24.com , airportshuttles24.com, flughafentransferduesseldorf.de, flughafentaxiduesseldorf.de, duesseldorf-flughafentransfer.de, airportshuttles24.de or "we"). These general conditions will regulate the contractual relationship between www.airporttaxis24.com and you (Booker/passenger), by virtue of which airporttaxis24.com acts as the disclosed agent of the supplier. For the provision of our services, we work with private transport operators (or “Suppliers”) who provide professional transport services for the transfer of passengers, or who act as an agency with the legal capacity to offer transport services and who are in possession of all the necessary licenses and permits according to the legislation applicable to each one of them for the realization of this activity in any country we provide our transfer booking services.The terms and conditions applicable to the contract between you and the supplier are available by request and are set out in the booking conditions of the relevant supplier. airporttaxis24.com acts as the disclosed agent for its suppliers thus it cannot accept any liability arising from the provision of the services.By booking on our website, you agree that the contract for the use and provision of the service is between you and our provider (the provider of the service). If the reservation is made by an agency, or any other person acting on your behalf, it is considered to be acting as an agent of all passengers who use the service as well as yourself. You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions as well as other information contained on the website. By making a reservation you confirm that you have read these Terms and Conditions and that you have the legal capacity to accept them on your own behalf and on behalf of all passengers using the services.These general conditions may change without prior notice and any change will be communicated by email, our app, our website, or any other means that you have provided us with this purpose.

  • If you (passenger) book a taxi, a rental car/minicar, a minibus, or a coach via this website, you agree to the following conditions as the exclusive basis for this booking (reservation) by clicking "I agree to the general terms and conditions of Airporttaxis24.com". If you (Booker/passenger) book (reserve) on behalf of another person by clicking on "I agree to the general terms and conditions of airporttaxis24.com", you (Booker/passenger) declare that you (Booker/passenger) are entitled to accept these general terms and conditions on your behalf.
  • Deviations from these terms and conditions are only valid if and insofar as they are expressly confirmed in writing by airporttaxis24.com.
  • If a provision of these conditions is declared invalid by the competent court or violates public order or the law, only the relevant provision is invalid, but the rest of these conditions remain in full force and effect. The ineffective provision shall be replaced by a provision that comes closest to the purpose of the parties.
  • airporttaxis24.com acts as an agent on behalf of the service provider in order to conclude a contract between you (Booker/passenger) and the service provider. Airporttaxis24.com will never become a party to a contract for the provision of transport services by the service provider for you (Booker/passenger). The contract for the provision of transport services is concluded directly between you (Booker/passenger) and the service provider. The services are offered only in the name and on account of the service provider at the prices and conditions determined by the service provider.
  • If you (Booker/passenger) have selected more than one Service Provider to provide (Booker/passenger) Trips to you in the Booking (Reservation), the contract for the provision of the transport service associated with each Trip shall be directly between you (Booker/passenger) and the respective Service Provider you (Booker/passenger) have selected for that Trip in the Booking (Reservation).

Main Contract

You agree:

  • The contract concerning the main service (transport contract) is concluded between you and the service provider (service provider) (taxi company, rental car company, bus company; hereinafter referred to as "service provider"). The message transmitted by us following the reservation inquiry merely represents a summary and confirmation of receipt of the binding reservation inquiry.
  • The contractual relationship regarding the main service is governed by the General Terms and Conditions (Conditions of Carriage), which are specified by the transport service provider (service provider) and which we will bring to your attention during the booking process. Please read these conditions carefully, as they contain contract-relevant information (e.g. terms of payment, rebooking, cancellation, liability regulations, etc.).
  • The service contract exists between you and the service provider. The terms of the service contract are available in this booking system if you select the vehicle type and enter the further relevant information.
  • airporttaxis24.com is not a party to the contract between you and the Driving Service Provider and neither party assumes any responsibility or liability (direct or indirect) with respect to the terms of your service Contract with the Service Provider or any problems arising in connection with the services under the contract or any other problems between you and the Driving Service Provider.
  • airporttaxis24.com does not warrant or assume any responsibility with respect to any services or vehicles reserved by a Service Provider. It is the sole responsibility of the Service Providers to provide you with a Vehicle Service that has been booked through this booking system.
  • airporttaxis24.com does not accept any responsibility or liability for changes to the general terms and conditions of the driving service providers that are available in this booking system.

  • That if You provide us with any information it shall be current, complete, accurate, true, and correct.
  • That You are at least 18 years old and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to use our software in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of this agreement. If You are less than 18 years old You may only use this service in conjunction or with the previous explicit authorization of Your parents/guardians.
  • That You are financially responsible for all of Your use of our software as well as for the use of Your name and payment method (e.g., corporate credit card, personal credit card, or other approved method) to pay for services and products purchased using our software or site by members of Your household, including minors living with You, and if You have administrative roles with Your employer for which You create bookings for colleagues, such colleagues.
  • That all information supplied by You or members of Your company, organization or household in using our site or software is true and accurate, and to indemnify us for any breaches of the foregoing warranties.
  • That Your use of airporttaxis24.com grants You no rights in relation to our intellectual property rights (including, without limitation, copyright, trademarks, logos, graphics, photographs, animations, videos, and text or rights in and to airporttaxis24.com software, applications, and website) or the intellectual property of our retail or advertising partners, other than the non-transferable, personal right to use and receive the Airporttaxis24.com services in accordance with these terms;
  • That You will not use airporttaxis24.com: for any unlawful purpose; in any way that interrupts, damages, impairs, or renders airporttaxis24.com less efficient; to transfer files that contain viruses, trojans or other harmful programs; to access or attempt to access the accounts of other users or to penetrate or attempt to penetrate any security measures; to disseminate any content which is defamatory, obscene, or may have the effect of being harassing, threatening or abusive to an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age or disability or otherwise; to advertise or promote third party or Your own products or services;
  • To refrain from doing anything which we reasonably believe to be disreputable or capable of damaging our reputation;
  • And acknowledge that we have limited control over the nature and content of information and chat transmitted or received by You or other users of Airporttaxis24.com. Although we reserve the right to do so, we do not monitor such content in the usual course of business and will not be liable for any such content. If You have a complaint about another user please contact us via the app or info@flaxoo.com
  • To compensate and defend us fully against any claims or legal proceedings brought against us by any other person as a result of Your breach of these terms.
  • Please note that we are not responsible for the behavior, actions, or inactions of drivers of cabs/taxis which You may use. Any contract for the provision of cab/taxi service is between You and the Provider and not airporttaxis24.com and we simply provide a platform to introduce cab service Providers and passengers.

Booking order

The order to airporttaxis24.com to procure transport or other individual services is placed via the website of an airporttaxis24.com affiliate/travel office/network partner or via the websites operated by airporttaxis24.com itself. The customer submits a binding reservation order. The order can be placed by the customer in writing, verbally, by telephone, or online (by clicking on the "Reserve now" button). The customer is bound to the reservation order until the acceptance or rejection of the order by the service provider. The acceptance of the order is declared by the service provider by sending the written booking confirmation. The booking confirmation can be sent by post, fax, SMS, or e-mail. The contractual obligation of airporttaxis24.com is the proper brokerage of the booked transport service or the individual services. The provision of the booked service as such is not part of the obligation of airporttaxis24.com but is the obligation of the mediated driving service providers (service providers).In this case, the customer has clicked on the "Reserve now" button on the second screen. This is the legally binding order placed with airporttaxis24.com to arrange a transport or other individual service for the booking party with a specific service provider. The booking party is bound by this reservation order until the user can cancel the reservation 24 hours before the pick-up time. The booking is deemed to have been arranged as soon as the booking confirmation has been sent to the booking party. The booking confirmation can be sent by post, fax, SMS, or e-mail.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking. Upon receipt of full payment, airporttaxis24.com will process the booking and after confirmation will send to the Lead Party the transfer services details which you have booked and the booking voucher. The voucher acts as a ‘ticket’ and must be presented to the supplier representative or driver.
  • When the booking is confirmed a legally binding contract will be created between the Lead Party (and all of the passengers listed on the booking) and the supplier. No binding contract is created until full payment has been received. If you are booking via a Travel Agent no contract will be created between you and a supplier until full payment has been received from your travel agent. We cannot accept any liability in respect of any confirmed services unless full payment has been received.
airporttaxis24.com or its suppliers cannot be held responsible or liable for the timeliness, accuracy, or quality of the services due to incorrect information provided at the time you book the service. It is the Lead Party’s (or his agent's) responsibility to check that all the details of the booking are correct prior to travel and inform airporttaxis24.com if there are any errors in advance.If any errors in the information provided by the Lead Party (or his agent) at the time of booking result in a change to the cost of the services, you will be liable for that cost. In the event that you fail to pay for the difference due to incorrect information provided by you, airporttaxis24.com or our supplier reserves the right to cancel the services without any compensation or refund liability to you.The supplier’s price quoted on our website is the final price and no extra charges will be made to you if the information you provide at the time of booking is correct.---

PAYMENT

  • If booking with the “Online Payment option”, You agree to pay the booking amount at the time you make your Booking. If booking with the “Payment to the driver option”, You agree to pay the booking amount to the service providers Driver.
  • Once you have confirmed your booking on the payment screen, it can be only canceled or changed up to 24 hours before your pickup time except in accordance with these Terms.
  • If paying online by Credit Card, in the event that your card payment is refused by your card issuer for whatever reason, airporttaxis24.com will not be able to fulfill your Booking.
  • airporttaxis24.com will provide you a receipt for Payment from the service provider who serves you this service on the same day of the pickup day of your trip by email to your email address or SMS to the mobile number you provided with the booking. Payment will not cover any extra requirements you request, such as child seats. If you do not indicate any additional luggage when booking, resulting in a larger size vehicle being required, then the service provider may charge you extra, which you must pay them directly for. If You wish to give a tip to the Cab driver, You should do so directly at your own discretion.
  • In the event that You make any deviations from the route that You entered into the Website, You may be subject to additional charges by the service provider/driver in respect thereof and will make such payment directly to the driver of the service provider.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, all Quotes provided by airporttaxis24.com are inclusive of VAT, where applicable, at the standard rate. Any promotional code applied to the booking amount will first reduce the airporttaxis24.com fee. Any excess discount will then be deducted from the service provider-related fee.

Charges

Charges for no-show at the pick-up location and for waiting times

  • For pick-ups at the airport, a waiting time on the part of the transfer service provider of 60 minutes; at the railway station or individual addresses of 30 minutes is included free of charge. Should the actual flight arrival be earlier than the scheduled arrival, the client is obliged to wait for the driver.
  • No-show charges : If the client does not appear at the agreed pick-up point at the agreed pick-up time, cannot be reached in person or by telephone within the waiting times and has also not informed the transfer service provider in writing or by telephone of his/her delay, 100% of the transfer costs will be incurred as no-show charges.
  • Waiting time fees : If the customer contacts the transfer service provider by telephone within the free waiting period and wishes to start the transfer journey late, additional waiting times and parking charges incurred will be charged or invoiced in accordance with the selected payment method after the expiry of the free waiting period and with the written consent of the passenger: 60 minutes of free waiting time,each additional 20 minutes or part thereof: 10.00 € (incl. VAT), Additional parking fees
Non-appearance (no-show) of the transfer service provider at the meeting point Pick-ups at the airport, railway station, and individual addresses If the transfer service provider has not arrived at the agreed pick-up point (meeting point) 30 minutes after landing (based on airport information) or after 15 minutes at the railway station (after train arrival) or individual address and cannot be reached by telephone, the customer may obtain equivalent substitute transport (taxi or public transport). Any additional costs incurred will be reimbursed to the customer by airporttaxis24.com on behalf of the transfer service provider against the presentation of a receipt.---

Cancellations

Cancellations by you

Cancellations must be made by you using our website or app. If you cancel your booking more than 24 hours prior to the date on which you use the first service confirmed in your booking you will be fully refunded.If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours prior to the date on which you use the first service confirmed in your booking you will not be entitled to any refund. If you have opted to make your booking by paying a deposit, and if you cancel the booking 24 hours prior to the first service use date, the outstanding balance will not be deducted from your credit/debit card and the deposit will not be refunded. All deposit payments made are non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed and cancellation has been done 24 hours before the actual pickup time. In the event that you do not use the services for any reason and do not cancel the booking, no refunds will be provided. All refunds will be debited to the original form of payment and account which was used at the time you made the booking.

REFUND POLICY

  • We will not refund any charges for bookings that are prepaid with a credit card or debit card which have a cancellation notification period of a minimum of 24 hours to the actual pick-up time.
  • No refunds will be issued for the following: If the customer does not show up at the agreed meeting point, for any reason (missed the flight) and does not contact Onward airporttaxis24.com to inform them not to send the driver any money paid will not be refundable.
  • If the customer provides us with the wrong flight number or wrong date.
  • Cancellations are notified within 24 hours when the driver is already at or on route to the pickup.
  • If the passenger provides us with misleading information.
  • If the passenger books the car on the wrong date.
  • If Customer was (is) not available when the car /driver arrives at the pickup point.

Cancellations by us

In extraordinary cases, and if our supplier is forced to make a significant change in the conditions of service, or to cancel the service, we will make the necessary efforts to find viable alternatives to any confirmed reservation that we must cancel. If we are finally forced to cancel your reservation, you will be refunded the full amount of the reservation and this refund will cover all obligations towards the customer arising from such cancellation.

Vehicles booked

We try hard to respect our clients’ preferences about the vehicle chosen; however, the vehicle may be replaced by one of higher capacity or multiple vehicles depending on availability. If the change is a reduction in the category or size of the vehicle for which we have a cheaper rate, the price difference will be refunded. All vehicles provided by the suppliers are fully insured for passenger and third-party claims, as required by local law.

Luggage

The vehicles used for private transfers have the capacity for at least 1 medium suitcase per passenger seat which should not exceed 70cm x 50cm. At the time of booking, you must inform us of the luggage to be transported. It is not necessary to declare smaller luggage items such as cameras, handbags, or small backpacks. The passenger will be responsible for any costs incurred in case of needing additional vehicles for the transport of undeclared luggage. Will you include in your luggage or personal objects, objects that contravene the legislation of the country in which the service is provided (firearms, etc.) or those that may be harmful to third parties, or objects of excessive size, weight, expiration or fragility. Unless you travel with a guide dog, animals are not allowed. The transport of luggage and other personal items is at your own risk and neither airporttaxis24.com or our supplier will be liable for any damages or losses.---

Child Seats

All children and babies, regardless of their age, will be taken into account to determine the capacity of the vehicle to use, and therefore must be entered in the total number of passengers at the time of booking. Please ensure that you are aware of the local legislation when traveling with children. In some destinations, children must use appropriate child seats. You are responsible for correctly providing all the information of the passengers at the time of booking and in case of traveling with children choose the necessary extras to adapt to the legislation of the country where you have booked the service. In some cases, child seat extras are not free and must be paid for by you at the time of booking. The Lead Party is responsible to check that the retention system is compatible with the vehicle and that it is correctly installed. airporttaxis24.com or our suppliers will not be responsible for any incident derived from misuse, or improper installation of the retention system. Own child seats or lifts can be used insome cases, you must inform us of this at the time the booking is made. We have to ensure that the vehicle used by the supplier is compatible with the retention system. Minibusses or coaches are used in some cases when traveling with big groups and in these vehicles, it is not possible to use child seats. We will do everything possible to ensure that the supplier offers these extras when it has been booked. Due to lack of availability child seats may not be available. In those cases, you will be refunded the cost of the extra. If the retention systems booked are not available, children over the age of three must use a seatbelt. Children under three years of age will be able to travel without a retention system but mandatory in the rear seats of the vehicle.---

Deviating provisions

The following provision shall be omitted

"If the customer does not immediately notify the transfer service provider by telephone of the delay that has become known, the journey will be charged as a no-show. The pick-up for the delayed landing can be ordered by telephone from the transfer service provider for a fee." Furthermore, the following shall apply: The checking of the landing time shall be the responsibility of the transfer service provider carrying out the transfer.

The following provision shall be omitted

"The customer agrees with the conclusion of the booking to participate in surveys for service improvement, which can take place by e-mail as well as by telephone and SMS. Participation can be deactivated at any time in the booking portal of airporttaxis24.com in the customer's personal profile." Furthermore: No survey will be sent to passengers or the customer.

The following amended regulation comes into force

"Optional additional costs (extra kilometers, waiting times, excess luggage, etc.) will be subsequently charged on the working day after the transfer has been carried out in accordance with the method of payment." Furthermore, the following shall apply: Additional costs incurred, e.g. due to unscheduled waiting times, detours, additional journeys, etc. for which the passenger is responsible, must be confirmed by the passenger in writing and forwarded to airporttaxis24.com on the following working day at the latest.

The following article replaces

For pick-ups at the airport, a waiting time on the part of the transfer service provider of 60 minutes; at the railway station or individual addresses of 30 minutes is included free of charge. If the actual flight arrival is earlier than the scheduled arrival, the client is obliged to wait for the driver. If the Client does not arrive at the pick-up point within the free waiting period, the Service Provider is obliged to inform the Agency by using our app before leaving the pick-up point. If this action is not made, airporttaxis24.com reserves the right to cancel the transfer journey free of charge. Any expenses or additional costs incurred by the client will be charged to the service provider by airporttaxis24.com

The following supplement comes into force

Again, the Service Provider must inform the Agency before leaving the pick-up location by changing the booking status to No-show. Similarly, airporttaxis24.com must be informed of the no-show by the following working day, after the transfer, via a no-show message in the airporttaxis24.com system. If this action is not done as a no-show airporttaxis24.com reserves the right to cancel the transfer free of charge and to pass on any penalty charges incurred to the service provider in the event of a complaint.

The no-show information must include the following evidence and information:

  • When was the driver on site?
  • Where did the driver wait?
  • For airport/railway station pick-ups
  • What was the actual landing/arrival time?
  • Did the driver call the passenger/agency?
  • Did the passenger/agency contact you?

The following replaces

Rebookings made up to 3 hours before the transfer will be processed by the transfer service provider without entitlement to any additional charges, unless the journey distance changes by more than 20%.

The following amended regulation comes into force

In the event of cancellation less than 2 hours before the start of the journey, the Client will be charged 100% cancellation costs.---

Amendments

Booking amendments can be made free of charge up to 24 hours before the use of the first service contained in any booking confirmed by us. Changes made less than 24 hours Amendments may result in extra charges and you must pay these charges prior to any changes being made. Amendments cannot be made changing to a different destination than that specified in your booking. Only extras, pick-up and drop-off hours can be amended. In general, and for most services, we do not charge for amendments or changes to your booking, although we reserve the right to do so in the event the amendment increases the price of your original booking.
